I thought the whole repeating table would be hidden if I used the conditional formatting, but now I see it only hides the records that don't meet the criteria. Perfect. It also eliminates another issue I was having - if ... Hmmm... maybe I'll try the conditional formatting instead. I'll let you know how that goes. I attached my form which won't work since you don't have access to the db, but maybe if you open it in design format, you can see what ... Posted to General (Forum) by kammy on 10-25-2007 Trouble with filter conditions on a repeating table I have a form with a repeating table. I have a "Start Date" field and an "End Date" field. In the repeating table properties I have a display filter which has two conditions that show the records that are "greater than or equal to the Start Date" and "less than or equal to the End Date". ... Posted to General (Forum) by kammy on 10-22-2007 File attachments Looking for help with a file attachment. I have a form with a file attachment (default file- a word document which is a letter template). I would like for the users to open the attachment, fill it out and simply close it so that the changes would be saved and attached to the form. Then with the click of a button they can send it back to a ... Posted to General (Forum) by kammy on 04-11-2007 Re: Text box error Yes - I think so. Any time I make a change to the DB, I make a new ''Main Connection''. Doing that seems to eliminate little issues like these. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by kammy on 12-15-2006 Re: Infopath to database or vice versa You do not have to ''attach'' the database to the form. I'm not sure what you mean by that... non-the-less, what you want to accomplish is have the user fill out the form, then email it to you. You would need to open each email separately and submit the data to the database unless you have the form's submit button go directly to the DB. If the ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by kammy on 12-14-2006 Re: Infopath to database or vice versa That is exactly what InfoPath does. Create the Database first in Access. Create the InfoPath form by choosing ''Design a Form'' then ''New from Data Connection''. The ''Main Connection'' can send/receive date from the DB and the ''secondary connections'' can recieve data from the DB (like a look up). You can add buttons and program them to send ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by kammy on 12-14-2006 Re: Text box error Did you check the field size in the DB where the form is saving the data? I had this same issue once before and kept checking the field size of the data source (secondary connection) instead of the table where the data was saved to. Hope that helps. Kammy Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by kammy on 12-13-2006 Re: Dealing With Character Limitations??? I would really like to know how to work around this too! I think there have been a few postings that use code, but for the majority of us non-coders a solution would really make the InfoPath form much more useful. A solution would be an excellent holiday gift to us all! Thanks. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by kammy on 12-12-2006 Re: Create a Print Button It's always the syntax! Thanks for your support!
