  • Re: "my:" - Can i get rid of this?

Again i'm having a similar problem here, after editing the schema the changes are having no impact on the form. And again i'm sure it has to do with the fact the form has a schema for the old xml application it was started on and a different schema for InfoPath. After i've made the changes and saved the schema, do i have to do anything else or ...

At the moment i have my form, and the files extracted from it in a separate folder, i edited the schema file and saved it, the changes are still there when i load it. I can't open the manifest file due to there being an ''error in the xml file''. I dont know what an sln file is but i've checked and dont appear to have one. I'm pretty sure this ...

Hi, I extracted the files and changed the schema.xsd file. But simply saving it doesnt make the changes happen, do you have to re-compile all the extracted files or something like that / if so how is that done? Thanks

  • "my:" - Can i get rid of this?

The form i have created is designed to replace an old xml file that was created using an application other than InfoPath. That other file was linked to a web based piece of software that displayed the xml data. PROBLEM = The web based package cant retreive the data from the fields in the InfoPath form because it puts ''my:'' in front of ...

  • Repeating Tables.... again!

Close to finishing this project now, just one or two little tweeks needed. My user has made a request that when the form is opened, they would like it if the repeating table started with about 10 blank rows rather than just one. Does anyone know if this can be done. Would appreciate all suggestions. j4ckson25

  • Re: Displaying images in a form.

Thanks for that. Althought doesn't this mean that all of the images i could possibly want to be displayed would need to be inserted into the form in the design mode...... and then in the preview mode all except one of the images would be hidden,.... depending on what was chosen from the list ? Is there a way of having all the images linked to ...

  • Repeating Table Headers

When inputing information into a repeating table with all the fields lined up horizontally eventually my end user will scroll down to a point where the headers can not be read any more. Is there a way of pinning the headers to the top of the screen/or any way of keeping them visible? All help welcome! j4ckson25

  • Displaying images in a form.

I have only just started using InfoPath and wanted to know if it was possible to link an image displayed in a form, to a drop down list in the same form. E.g. The drop down list contains three entries: hat, car and ball. I want the picture of a car (stored on my computer) to display when ''car'' is selected from the list. Is this ...
