Hi Kaoru  Many thanks for your reply. Would the workaround listed in your response be needed on every computer who wants to open the file (as there are hundreds and wont be feasible) or just mine as the developer? Thanks   Justin 

 Hi I have a SharePoint Form Library set up with an InfoPath template linked to it. The first 2 users tried opening documents from SharePoint opened the file successfully.
