I did have to add a 'Query Receive_Forms' rule right before the QRules command line, but it finally worked!!!! And you had the patience of a Saint!!!! Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-23-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML Thanks, I did sign up for the Webinar. Both formulas came back with the same error below: Action: CopyRichText. Arguments: dsnamesrc: Receive_Forms xpathsrc: /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:OPS_x0020_Highlights[../d:Report_x0020_Period = 'May 2016 xpathdest: ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-23-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML Attached is the form, at first I had hand typed in the concat function, then used the fx button. Since all my errors came from any formula that pointed to items in quotes, I played around with using fields to supply to filters. Then reverted to just trying one filter, to see if I could get that to work. Attached is ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-23-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML If I take out all filters, except for report period, I get the following error.... Concat and CopyRichText don't seem to play nice together. Required parameter unspecified: xpathdest. Usage is: CopyRichText [/dsnamesrc=Data Source Name (Source)] /xpathsrc=XPath to Node ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-22-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML Sorry for the delay, we have Office 365 and I had to change my password... which meant none of my data connection worked for 24 hours until all the servers replicated. Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-22-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML Figured part of it out. I was filtering the data first and pulling it into my form then trying to use the CopyRichText. If I pull directly from the SP list to populate the field, it works beautifully. Now my question is, can I use xpath statements in the command to determine which SP list item it retrieves ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-20-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML To clarify, I read on another post that on the submission form (the one that feeds the results into this form), the richtextbox needed be set as plain text in SP first ... then I should set up my connection in IP, after that I could go back into SP and swap it back to rich text. I am not sure if this makes a difference or ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-20-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML I reconfigured my connection so that it would recognize the field as XHTML, and it strips the HTML but I have no line breaks. Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-20-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML I tried recreating the connection, and I also checked the source columns. I am still seeing HTML in the form. In the end, all I am trying to accomplish is remove the HTML and add line breaks or paragraph breaks. Is there something qrules that does this feature? Posted to Controls (Forum) by Mariav on 03-19-2016 Re: CopyRichText not removing HTML Sure, sorry about that.
