Sorry..found it.  The developer of the form had the date fields formatted to system date.

I must be doing something wrong.  I have developed at view that contains all the fields i need.  I use the export wizard to export to excel. All fields export with the exception of and fields formatted as "date".  I changed then to text fields and the export worked.  Any ideas why this is occurring would be ...

Sandya  Thanks for your tips.  Unfortunately they do not help.  We are using infopath2003 and I want to try and not use the export wizard.  I was hoping for some code which I could attach to the approve button which would do the export.  Cheers  Brian

I had a similar problem where the form had to be emailed to an authorising officer, who needed to open it in a specific view. I made a work around it by creating a rule to open the form in the specified view if the field containing the authorising officers ID was not blank. I know its not the best solution but it seems to work for me. Cheers
