Hi Matt, Thanks for your reply. I was trying to create a simple form to insert data into a custom list. After submitting the form I get message that the form has been submitted successfully but nothing is getting inserted into the list.Why is that so?

Hi Matt, I am new to Sharepoint as well as Infopath. Will you please explain me what is the purpose of this whole procedure when you have the ready made forms (AllItems.aspx,EditForm.aspx) given by SharePoint? Also will you please explain me how to design a form with different controls instead of repeating table?
