Any way I can provide you my e-mail address anonymously so you could send it to me? Appreciate your efforts Karl Posted to General (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-06-2017 Re: how to email an active view (IP2013) Hmmm, I enclosed the form again as a raw template. Perhaps you can only attach one item at a time? The site seems to reject word documents as an attachment. In "design" mode go to the bottom of either the main Data Entry view or the IBM or SIN view Regards, Karl Posted to General (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-06-2017 Re: how to email an active view (IP2013) Thank you for the quick response. I am fairly sure the email options are correct as they work when using IP2007/Win 7 enterprise. I even went as far as adding a submit button (Email this CR) at the bottom of each form to be able to e-mail to a single e-mail address. The buttons work but no view is in the body. Enclosed ... Posted to General (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-06-2017 how to email an active view (IP2013) We have a form with several views. Developed with InfoPath 2007. One of the views is sent outside our organization for the recipient to cut and paste the data into their system. Using IP2007 it has been working well for years. We are switching to Office 2016 and IP 2013. We no longer can send an active view via ... It is not big deal as I can use a Rich Text box if needed. I was just wondering if someone came across this idiosyncrasy. Take care and, once again, many thanks for your time Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-21-2015 Re: When e-mailing an IP form text is cut off The plain text box is used to put in instruction on an implementation plan, thus is always free form. I would not know how an expression box can help. It is not a big issue to me as the situation is very rare (took years for it to rear it's ugly head). The alternative is to cut and paste the instructions into a Doc and attaching that. ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-21-2015 Re: When e-mailing an IP form text is cut off BTW, it is not browser enabled as a browser enabled form does not allow a combined date and time field, which I need for scheduling work and displaying it in a calendar view. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-21-2015 Re: When e-mailing an IP form text is cut off Tx for the quick response. When e-mailing the info I actually do switch views and send the alternate view. For years we did not realize that there is an actual, potential problem. It just came to light when the instructions in the field where excessive. As I mentioned at the end of my problem description, I created a blank ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Moose449 on 07-21-2015 When e-mailing an IP form text is cut off I have an InfoPath form designed and am using it for several years now. It is a IP template published on SharePoint 2010. Usually one particular plain text field has only 20-30 lines of instructions entered. Recently a user entered well over 100 lines and close to 5000 characters of instructions. No problem. Form can be submitted and opened ...
