Sorry Matt.... since I'm new to Infopath and XML, I have no idea as to what I'm looking for by using the alert functions you suggested in your last reply. I checked, double and triple checked the steps of your tutorial, but it does not work. I still get the error message ''Object required''. Referring to the link below... regarding populating ...

  • Access to an Access DB #2

My original question was about how to read an Access database and pull data from it and insert the data into specific fields in the InfoPath form. • Re: Accessing an Access DB

Matt... in your tutorial... in the section where you said to ''Add code behind the View Detail button'', I apparently are not performing Step 3 correctly. That's where I am to replace the contents of the OnClick event handler with your code. Currently the template reads as ''function btnViewDetail::OnClick(eventObj) { // Write your code ...

  • Accessing an Access DB

Please forgive me if the answer to my question has already been answered, but I could not find the answer, so here goes: I created a nice Purchase Order form using InfoPath, and placed it on our Sharepoint site. I now need to access an Access DB, located on another shared server. The data in the Access DB is for budgeting purposes, the Purchase ...

Hi Patrick.... thanks for the link. I was able to perform all the steps; however, in step 10, the instructions indicated by clicking on the submit button, the form shifts into second view, Main Form, but it doesn't appear to do that. Any ideas??
