  • Re: Getting "view is not ready" error

Hmmm ... it looks as if InfoPath doesn't allow/can't cope with sequential view switching: http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/infopath/643/performing-two-SwitchViews Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can implement printing the way I have described? --Philip

No, it isn't in the OnLoad code, it is in the event handler for a button. The idea is that the user click on the button to print the form. My code then checks that there aren't any validation errors, switches to the first print view, prints it, switches to the second print view, prints it and then switches back to the data view. --Philip

  • Getting "view is not ready" error

I've got the following code: Dim current_view As String = e.XDocument.View.Name ' Switch to the accounts version of the print view & print it e.XDocument.View.SwitchView(''PrintAccountsVersion'') e.XDocument.PrintOut() ' Switch to the originators version of the print view & print ...

  • Re: Setting default value from code

I'm still having a bit of a problem, namely that of setting the default value for the FIRST row that gets created when a form is newly created. The trouble I've got is that by the time the OnLoad sub fires, the first row appears to have been created. My problem then is that I can't tell the difference between a brand new form (where I could go in ...

  • Refresh problem

I've got a form where the user can enter part of the supplier's name, hit search and get a drop-down list of matches. I'm using conditional formatting to hide/show the relevant bits according to the results of functions in my managed code. The problem I'm having is that the update of the form only takes place on the second go. So, for ...

  • Setting default value from code

I've got a drop-down list that is populated from a secondary data source. What I'd like to be able to do is write some code in the OnLoad sub that sets the default value for this list. Is this possible? --Philip
