InfoPath Dev

 anybody? any help?

I am trying to set a date field back to nothing. I have tried the following: ...text = "" ...text = Null ...text = empty I have removed the xsi:nil attribute and I can set the value but it causes validation errors. The date field is not required to be filled in. Can anybody please help? I have been stuck for days!

 how can you detect if a user has added a new repeating section to the form? what I am trying to determine is how can I tell if a user opened up an InfoPath form that already had multiple "contacts" listed, if you will, and added a new repeating section to add more "contacts" Or is there a way to verify that the ...
