Thanks for the reply. I have tried that code, and that's when I get the message that the form doesn't have a file name. The form is fully trusted and deployed using vs msi. Patti

I am new to the forum, so would appreciate any help I can get. I am trying to call the SaveAs method in the onSubmitRequest function in jscript. I am passing it a field value and path as the file path/name. I keep getting the error saying that the file has no name.
