  • Re: NewFromSolution problems

Thanks Agni! That now has the code compiling properly and I no longer get the error message. The problem now being that NewFromSolution doesn't open newForm (I am sure I have the filepath in the correct format). Should I be using different syntax? Any help would be great, Cheers! Dan

  • NewFromSolution problems

Hi All, I have created a timesheet form for our supervisors to complete for each of their subordinates on a weekly basis. The data is then submitted to a database. As an ease of use issue more than anything - I would like to have a button that says ''Submit and Fill Out Another'' which submits the current timesheet and opens a fresh one. This can ...

  • Re: Display specific picture

Scratch that - I have managed it now! I inserted a linked picture for each question and with the xPath: concat(''\\pathname\'', xdXDocument:GetDOM(''Questions'')/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:QuestionsQuery/@PictureQ_[../@Question_ID_ = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Answers/@Q1]) This requires that all pictures associated ...

  • Display specific picture

Hi Everyone! I am currently creating a Set of Staff training forms that pick a set of questions from an Access database and then prompt the user for answers. I have managed to create the forms well so far, although I have now been asked if I can incorporate picture questions into the tests. At the moment I have used Expression Boxes to display ...

  • Re: Macros

Cheers Matt, I'll follow those up. The thing being that I want to email a summary of the results of many forms being filled in, hopefully I may be able to forge some sort of compromise out of this! Cheers, Dan

  • Macros

Hi Everyone, Is there some specific way to get an Access macro to run everytime I submit a form to the database? I want Access to email results from a questionnaire to an email address and while this is relatively easy using macros, there seems no way to get the macro to run when infopath submits data. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers, Dan ...

  • Re: Populating Rows in repeating table

Thanks for your replies! What I am hoping to achieve is a situation where, when invoicing a customer, the user needs only enter the item code and quantity for each item and then for infopath to complete the rest of the row (description, net price, tax etc) by retrieving the associated information from a product database. When I say I have had ...

  • Populating Rows in repeating table

Hi all! I am currently looking into the viability of Infopath as a means of replacing our existing (Unison) system. I have had quite a lot of success making a form to invoice customers and store the invoice information into an Access database. I have it so that when an account number is entered, the invoicing address is retrieved from a secondary ...
