  • Re: SharePoint library and webdav

I ran into a similar (but different ;^) issue. I want people to contribute, but not be able to read submitted forms. I could have read-only permissions or read and contribute permissions, but it doesn't seem like SharePoint could give contribute but not read. I also needed to restrict the submitters on a form-by-form basis. This was solved ...

Thanks Anders, Even though Matthew is creating the InfoPath header (and I want to extract it), that example will save me quite a bit of time. It doesn't seem like SharePoint can crawl/search the content of an InfoPath file attachment, at least not out of the box. This seems strange to me, since that would be a fairly common scenario for InfoPath/SharePoint integration with attachments. So, maybe I'm overlooking something. Does anyone know of a way to get SharePoint to crawl a file ...

  • Re: Business Practice Question

I've used the following approach to solve the SQL Reporting issue. InfoPath forms are submitted to a centralized web service, which performs the following checks: authenticates the submitting user checks against AD roles to ensure the user is authorized to submit validates the form based on the InfoPath schema validates the version ...
