I have VB script code (Below) that is inside a button and is supposed to save a calendar appointment on the user's outlook. The form works fine when on my computer. But once I publish to sharepoint, and run a new form from there or edit the template, I get this error when pressing the button: ''ActiveX component can't create object: ...

  • Re: objAppointment.Start w/ Field reference

Thanks, I got the code to work (below). Would you know the statement to use to add 1 week to whatever date it's referencing in the field? Dim objField Set objField = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//my:myFields/my:Date_Interview'') Const olAppointmentItem = 1 Set objOutlook = CreateObject(''Outlook.Application'') Set objAppointment = ...

  • Re: Status of an application

Thank you for your reply. Is there any chance you may be able to provide me a link with the main discussion for such a step, and/or with sample code? I am not the familiar with how to custom program the buttons, but I could probably manage to edit the code... Thank you

  • Re: File Attachment question

Hi, all the feedback will be read by the main HR person, who will also edit and merge all the forms attached, and attach a merged copy for the Director of the department to make a decision on the candidate.

  • Re: Merging Attachments

Hi, thank you for the reply. I'm not exactly sure of all the details in your reply... I tried to go to File-Merge Forms, but it does not give me the option of merging the forms I've attached to my infopath form... If I misunderstood your reply, can you forward me a link to an example? I am a novice.

  • Merging Attachments

My form is used for the recruiting process. In the form, interviewers attach their feedback, which are actually infopath forms as well. Since they are attached to the infopath form, is there a way to merge all of them together and create a summary report, short of opening up each attachment, saving them, and merging them?

  • Status of an application

I am creating a form to organize the entire recruiting process. Throughout the form, I am looking for the best way to keep track of the status of the application. Sample status's could be 1. Being phone screened 2. Being Interviewed 3. Awaiting feedback from interview etc... This status field would then be displayed in a sharepoint folder with ...

  • File Attachment question

I am doing an infopath form for the entire recruiting and interview process of new candidates. In part of my form, I've created a bunch of ''file attachment'' controls, such that an interviewer will ''check out'' the form from Sharepoint, and add their interview feedback into one of the File attachment locations. My question is, how can I make ...
