I recently made a change to the 'header' through page setup. When I tried to open the form in design mode I get the following error: The form definition (.xsf) file contains elements, attributes, or structures that are not valid. Error details: Element ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by trentdudei on 02-21-2007 PDF Printing I have one user that has an unusual printing problem. In InfoPath (and only in InfoPath) no matter what printer he selects from the file menu - his form prints out using the windows defaulted printer. He is attempting to print out a .pdf document and the form is trying to physically print on his scan center. He just downloaded IE 7 however I ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by trentdudei on 12-20-2006 Color Printing Can InfoPath print forms in color? We have added our logos to our forms and one of the common complaints is that we don't see the logo that we dropped serious cash on to get designed. I've searched around and don't see anything obvious. As always - any help would be appreciated. Posted to General (Forum) by trentdudei on 02-09-2006 Combo Boxes I am creating a form the will require a combo box. Unless I'm overlooking something, I don't see that option with InfoPath's standard controls. The list box will contain five text descriptions that I will use to show / hide sections with jpgs when selected. The users may need to select more than one text description. Any guidance would be ... The HP5110 printer I'm using is networked through my laptop. If I print to that printer through my desktop, my document prints as expected. If I print through my laptop, the same document is skewed a half inch to the right and a half ... Posted to General (Forum) by trentdudei on 10-19-2005 Re: Dynamic text and page breaks for Printing I feel your pain - most of my forms are based on replacing our old Word standards. I hopefully will be proved wrong in saying this, but until Infopath addresses the shortcomings in the printing department, we are relegated to page breaks and code work arounds. Hopefully the next release of Infopath will address tables (and ideally sections) as ... Posted to General (Forum) by trentdudei on 10-19-2005 Re: Check Boxes I agree that there are very few pleasing 'aftermarket' active x check boxes. I'll work with my programmers to see what they can come up with. My form is 9 pages printed with an average of 150 controls per page. Thus far I've stuck with one view (the users like being able to scroll through the form) but I'm guessing that Franck is suggesting ... Posted to General (Forum) by trentdudei on 10-19-2005 Re: Check Boxes Franck, Have you used any 3rd party check-boxes? I did what you suggested (highlighting the selected captions based on a check-box selection) and although this works very well, I'm afraid the shear amount of check boxes (and subsquent text boxes to bold) will add a ton of baggage to an already bulky form. Any guidance you could give would be ... Posted to General (Forum) by trentdudei on 10-19-2005 Page 1 of 2 (20 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
