  • Solved: SQL DB Form, second added table to data source structure wont repeat

I screwed up the SQL. Table three should have looked like: CREATE TABLE [MEDD].[dbo].[TBL_IMPLEMENTATIONS_LOG_TABLES](     [TABLE_USED_ID] int IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL Primary Key,     [CHANGE_NUMBER] int FOREIGN KEY REFERENCES [dbo].[TBL_IMPLEMENTATIONS_LOG]([CHANGE_NUMBER]),     [SERVER_USED_ID] ...

I recently moved the DB to a new server and now the 3rd table in my data source structure will not repeat. When creating the connection table 1 was added first, then table 2 was related to table 1 on a single ...

This thread is solved. I was simply posting a link to my new question in the hope that the nice lady that helped me solve this question would be able to help out with a solution. I do not post haphazerdly on forums and I have searched both this and other sites for a solution. I have not found any that worked for me and that is why I ...

  • Re: Make added repeating section show up on top of the list of sections

I do like the look of qRules and will look into it for future projects. I have seen it as the answer to many problems on the forums but it is not approved for me to use or a part of my budget. For now I am stuck using what comes with InfoPath. My current code looks like ...

  • Make added repeating section show up on top of the list of sections

I have a form with a repeating section that has a button that adds the new section via VB. See this post for reference: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/26230/91066.aspx#91066 I would not like the new field to show up on top of the list. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help! Jon

In testing I realised that this will keep the data from the cloned node in the appended node. Is there any way to only clone the structure and not the data?  Thanks again.

Fantastic! That worked. I do really want to mess around with qRules. I have seen it as the answer to many problems on the forums but it is not a part of my budget. I will however download the free version to learn more about it for future projects. Thank you for all of your help!!

  • Re: VB or C# to add Repeating Section

Well, it worked until i unchecked: 'Allow users to insert and delete sections' When i did that the XmlToEdit on the advanced tab goes away.... I need to uncheck the 'Allow users to...' because the point of the exercise is to stop users from being able to remove sections.  Any advise on how i should proceed? ...
