When I go to register it per above I get a warning it may not be compatible with a 64 bit system. Not wanting to mess up the registry I stopped and did not register it. Is it safe to register or is there a 64 bit version or am I SOL? Stuart Posted to Code (Forum) by skarden on 08-25-2013 Strange Error on Optional Section Pop-Up I am creating an InfoPath form to assist me in taking notes during testimony. (I am an Immigration Judge and need to make notes to myself to summarize testimony, exhibits, etc.). I created an optional section for Witnesses. (In immigration cases typically only the alien testifies, so this is an optional section in case there are other witnesses). ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by skarden on 08-18-2013 How to manipulate/refer to a layout table, cell or text? I usually use sections and then place a table in it for layout purposes. I can't find a way to reference that table. I also found I can type right on the table making a de facto label. However, just like with the table, I can find any way to refer to it so I can change the text and/or color. Is there a way to reference a layout table or cell ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by skarden on 08-11-2013 Possible to make Rule/Code to change Section/Table/Cell Border? I know how to use a rule in Infopath to set the font and/or background of a section or a control, but what I want to do is to set just the section border color. Is there a way to do that? Posted to Controls (Forum) by skarden on 08-11-2013 Re: Hiding Repeating Section and 'Insert Item' text Thanks. I have it figured out. In either a repeating or optional section I put in another section where my controls will go. I then put a button in the repeating or optional section just below the nested section that holds the controls. Next to the button I put a hidden textbox next to the button. (To hide the textbox I create a Formatting ... By placing a button within the repeating section I found that I can use that to hide an individual section. Naturally, as that part of the repeating section then becomes ... Indeed I had. I see now when I double click the xml or xsf files that the font has changed. However, if I go back to the form and preview it, the font reverts to "normal". Am I therefore correct that I will have to manually change the font each and ever time this same ... I *think* I found the right place to save them as Source Files by going to the backstage | Publish | Export Source files. I then opened the view1.xsl in Notepad. I change the font size from 9 to 20 at the .optionalPlaceholder line. However, when I try to save it I get an error message that says: Cannont create the ... I went to my form in 2010 designer and did a "Save As" but there is no choice to save as source files. How do I do that? Thanks! = Stuart = Posted to General (Forum) by skarden on 06-25-2013 Possible to change the font and/or point size of the "Click here to insert" text in an optional section?
