  • Re: InfoPath 2010 file layout messed up when opened in 2013

So... I discovered something strange.  It kept appearing as if the form was zoomed in, but I could not get any zoom controls to work previously. This morning, I tried to do CTRL - again, and it suddenly worked.  All it took was doing that once for everything in the form to appear correct again.  I am not sure why trying CTRL ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 file layout messed up when opened in 2013

I have double checked the settings on my machine vs the settings on a machine of my colleague.  We have identical settings for InfoPath, and are opening the exact same file in InfoPath 2013.  I am having the issue of everything not looking correctly, and he is not.  So I don't think that the issue is machine settings.  It ...

Hi Bre,  The issue is that it worked perfectly fine in the InfoPath 2010 Designer, but that opening the same file in the InfoPath 2013 Designer appears to mess up all the prior formatting.  The strange thing is that all of the font sizes and column widths have remained identical, they just don't look the same.  Do you ...

  • InfoPath 2010 file layout messed up when opened in 2013

My workplace recently upgraded to InfoPath 2013. When I open any of my InfoPath 2010 files in Design Mode in InfoPath 2013, the layout looks completely messed up.  The text that all fit neatly on a single line is now running over on to a second line.  The weird thing is that the table columns are all still the same pixel width, and the ...

  • Re: Re-use template for new SharePoint List?

The file is attached.  It is referencing a list for the multiple-selection fields, so I am not sure if you will be able to open it as is.   -Joy

  • Re: Re-use template for new SharePoint List?

Hi Jun, I figured out that if I save the list as a template in SharePoint, I can then create the new list from that template.  I can then edit it to my heart's content, but starting with all the fields, rules, etc that I already built in the first version of the form. The issue that I forgot to mention is that I ...

I posted too soon, I just figured it out. I had to save the list as a template in SharePoint, and then create the new list from that template.  I can then edit it to my heart's content, but starting with all the fields, rules, etc that I already built in the first version of the form.

  • Re-use template for new SharePoint List?

I built a terrific form for my SharePoint List in InfoPath. However, I now need to make three slightly different versions of the form, connected to three different SharePoint lists. I have been unable to change the Main Data Connection in the InfoPath file to link to a different list.  I exported the source files from the ...

  • Re: writing values from a multiple-selection list box to another control

An update - After much trial and error, I have finally gotten it to work.  I discovered that my formulae needed to be: For the MSLB rule: substring(xdMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(../../my:group1/Value[. != ""], 'concat("; ", .)'), ".."), 2) (the error I had been receiving when trying to set it to ...
