 Thanks for reproducing, and for trying to find a workaround.  This is my first InfoPath project (I'm a general computer consultant), so I thought maybe this behavior has a purpose of which I am unaware.  But it seems wrong to me, and I was surprised to not find anything relevant via Google search - I figured someone else ...

Am I missing something, or is this a bug or a feature in InfoPath 2007?   I have a Checkbox control as field1 in a Repeating Table.  I set Conditional Formatting for the Repeating Table so that when the checkbox is unchecked (field1 = false or 0), that row is shaded yellow.  Works great.
