For the business purpose, I have a layout table inside a repeating section inside a repeating section. In the first repeating section, I choose a RecordID from a dropdown and related data gets populated into ... Hi, Thanks, Hilary, for answering. I kinda thought it was going to be beyond the reach of OOB. Unfortunately, as much as I'd like qRules, the organization is too strict with its private WAN to add it. I'll find another way. R Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rlntel on 02-11-2014 Re: Create an additional control on a different view each time a repeating section is repeated on an earlier view. Don, Sorry for the delay. The client came back with enough updates so that the logic changed. In the end, though, this problem still exists...just in a different way. The requirement is for the form to have multiple audiences: Losing Office Team, Gaining Office Team, Review Team. The Losing Org Team should be able to edit the Losing Org Info ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rlntel on 02-06-2014 Create an additional control on a different view each time a repeating section is repeated on an earlier view. I have a form with multiple views. On view2 of the form a repeating section contains sections with tables. The first section holds a dropdown control. View3 of the form shows a textbox which displays the option chosen from the dropdown on view2. I need to know how to set up view3 so that if the user repeats the section on view2 and chooses ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rlntel on 01-30-2014 InfoPath 2007 - How to stop slight movement of cells and controls between views Hi, I've got multiple views for my form: Summary, Gaining, Losing, Review & Signatures. All views are reached through a two-row table where the top row looks like tab buttons and the bottom (merged) row holds the different views.. The Gaining and Losing views are almost identical with the exception of some words (specifically, one page ... I'm implementing now. :) ~Rob Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rlntel on 01-08-2014 Re: Repeating section inside repeating section stays bound to first item's data source Hilary, I found a machine with both InfoPath and connection to the net and rewrote the form and an accompanying xml file. They are attached. The form is working up to the point where I add a new outer repeating section. When one is added, it loads without any values appearing in the fields, as it should, but when a RecordID and LineItem are ... It's not much help without the logic. I'll try to build the form on a connected machine and post it tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. Rob Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rlntel on 01-07-2014 Re: Repeating section inside repeating section stays bound to first item's data source Hi, Sorry for the delay. I had to recreate the form. It is zipped together with an excel data file. This is probably going to need some explanation. Here's how it's supposed to work... First, think about the Excel file as a list in SharePoint. The drpdnRecordID control on the form uses the [Record ID] column; the drpdnLineItem ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by rlntel on 01-07-2014 Re: Repeating section inside repeating section stays bound to first item's data source Hi Hilary, Thanks for your reply. The form exists on a private intranet. We're forbidden from taking it out. I don't have a SharePoint site to connect the form to but I can show you a remake of the form here. If we can work on it to get it right with the attached xml file, I can adapt it to sharepoint.
