Hi Hilary Stoupa, Thanks for replying me as u have suggested i had removed all the rules except one rule which would set value in another field.But it seems to give the same error... If is there any difference between the working of XMLFormView in 2007 and 2010 then plz let me know because in 2007 it works great.

We have created many Browser Based InfoPath forms and used the XMLFormView control to display controls in webparts.
