Hi Hilary, The only scenario that makes sense is the template must have been published originally with the 2013 DLL. It is now working without issue for our InfoPath 2010 users. Thank you for helping us confirm this. -Steven

We are seeing a strange error for users who have InfoPath 2010 installed on their machines. This issue does not happen for anyone opening the forms in InfoPath 2013.
