Thanks, the  solution  you provided works.  The only issue is there is no option to hide the control when I launch first time.  The static text is visible and the moment I enter the value and tab from the control, it hides.  I'll try setting the default value to 0 and check

I created a calcualted field which sums up data entered in a repeated section Text box.  Everything works as expected, but I would like to display an alert or a message when teh calculated field reached 100.  is this possible?
