At the end of the form I have two checkboxes that represent 'Accepted' and 'Rejected'. I also have a hidden text field called 'FinalStatus' that is supposed to read 'Approved' or 'Rejected' based on ... Unfortunately I do not have those links anymore, but Google gave me some info - I was just not able to apply it. Good luck! Jimmy: but would the string-compare work only on values that are like for like or would it be able to compare if a the logged in user is in the specific sharepoint group I specified in my UserGroup.asmx lookup? Posted to Controls (Forum) by ladyath on 05-16-2012 Need help with the translate function for mixed case Hi I am creating a form that needs to check a username against a Sharepoint group to determine if certain controls would be displayed on an Infopath form. Using Sharepoint & Infopath 2010. The problem is that the case of the AD username does not match the case of the Sharepoint group so I figure I need to use translate to fix ... Each form does capture the username and it is recorded as part of the form. Would you mind giving me an example of how to edit the XSLT file? I've not worked with the source files before except to create a default tabbed template for views. Unfortunately submitting to a database was not an option since I have yet to figure out how to create a web service and my DB has large binary fields. As per my other post I resorted to creating additional fields to store the data I did not want to overwrite. Posted to SQL Database Integration (Forum) by ladyath on 12-29-2011 Tracking changes by username in merged forms How do I track which username made which change when merging forms? I tried using username as a prefix, but obviously that did not work. I am using Infopath 2010. Instead I used the repeating tables to onyl display the information and created new fields for users to make changes in. Not ideal, but oh well. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ladyath on 12-29-2011 Possible to use eval to copy data from a repeating section? I have a repeating table that pulls data from a secondary connection (MSSQL database). The users need to be able to view the data as it is currently there and make any changes before submitting it back. Problem is that if the form is submitted, it resets the repeating table back to the database data and not the user changed info. ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ladyath on 12-25-2011 Re: submit data into SQL Server It depends on your SQL fields. If you have large binary types, then you will need a web service to submit to the SQL database. If not, create the SQL data connection as a primary connection and you will be able to submit to the database. If you have large binary fields (like varchar MAX), you can use web services or ...
