I like your suggestion though, and will try to bound Table2/Column1 to the same field as Table1/Column1. I believe I can still bind the other columns in Table2 to new fields. I agree with setting it to read-only ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 12-16-2011 Copy contents from one repeating table to another one HI! I am trying to figure out how to copy contents from one cell in a repeating table to another repeating table. This is to save users having to put in repetitive values. Ideally users enter all values in table 1, then click a button I make, and all those values are copied down ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 12-15-2011 Re: See the XML of a submitted form? Never mind. On File/Info there is a panel to the right that lists Form Properties and Advanced Properties. Under the latter, template location and version is listed. I was right, it is using the old template. Now I just have to figure out how to force it to take the new template set up for library and content type.. Thanks. Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 10-21-2011 See the XML of a submitted form? Hi, I am having some trouble with the links/pointers between infopath template, sharepoint content type, and sharepoint form library. In short, I cannot make the existing submitted forms "take" the template updates after making some changes in content types/template/library setup. I suspect that the forms are not updated, i.e. they ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 10-21-2011 Re: Repeating table with alternate row color Thank you :) I have discovered another pickle with this, after testing step by step why it would not take on my existing tables (the sample above I made in a different project just quickly). My project is quite large with 19 views (for nav purposes), and several tables in each. And quite a lot of complexity in each view, set on tables. ... Posted to General (Forum) by LailaH on 09-21-2011 Re: Repeating table with alternate row color Hi I figured it out on my own! Wow, these are the things that will make it much better in my forms. I thought it was odd it was not part of the Design-tab to set it up actually. I did not attach XSN as I am not sure what it is. File format probably, so you get the whole project. But I attached a picture that explaines where I went wrong, and how ... Posted to General (Forum) by LailaH on 09-20-2011 Re: Repeating table with alternate row color Hi! This sound very promising, and I would love to make alternate row colors work on my tables, as some of them are painfully long. I selected the repeating table, created two formatting rules on it, where each of them had one of the conditions you wrote. I just pasted it into the condition-builder, not using a function builder, it was not ... Posted to General (Forum) by LailaH on 09-20-2011 Re: Problem with Filler width! Hi, I am using Infopath 2010 and WinXP. The company will upgrade to Win7 in a few weeks, maybe that will help. Users won't start using it until the roll-out so maybe you are right about window size/location persistance. I am not stressed. I just want it to work the way I have set my mind to. I am not accustomed to accepting sub-par ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 09-06-2011 Re: Problem with Filler width! I think you may be right about window settings being persisted independently of my property setting. But - I tested now, and it does not seem to work that way. I open the filler, make some changes in the form, tried closing it, and submitting it. It does not rpersist screen nor window size. It is just very odd. I have 900 px of excess whitespace ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 09-06-2011 Problem with Filler width! Hi I have a problem with the width of the Filler when it comes up. It is superwide, twice as wide as my contents. So I have a large white block with no contents on the right hand side (contents is left aligned). I have tried to set custom layout width (Page Design>Views>Properties), but it won't take. I have a solution that is ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by LailaH on 09-06-2011 Page 1 of 2 (14 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
