Filling it out in InfoPath instead of the Web showed the exact error...I like it! Posted to General (Forum) by plighty on 06-30-2011 Cannot submit error, but no indication of what is invalid. I am getting the error on submit: "cannot submit the form because it contains errors" All my fields are filled out and there is no indication as to what the error actually is. Is there a way to see what's goin on behind the scenes? I looked at the page source hoping to find in the script a field that had ... Posted to General (Forum) by plighty on 06-29-2011 How do I get the current ID of the form? I want to get a list column value of THIS form. I figured I'd set up a filter using THIS id, but I can't figure out how to get that info. I can use the title I guess, but I'm still interested in how I'd do it. Thanks! Posted to General (Forum) by plighty on 06-29-2011 How to get the value of a field in a row of a repeating table? So I have a repeating table outputting the values of a GetUserMemberships web service. How do I get the value of a specific field from a specific row. For instance, how would I get the DisplayName where the GroupId = 546. I guess I'm basically asking, how do I query a table for data? Thanks! Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by plighty on 06-28-2011 Re: Change view on current SharePoint user permissions. I figured out what my problem was! Duh. I was setting the default value for a text field. Well, when the form is submitted that text field inherits that value and the next time its pulled up there's no need for a DEFAULT value. Facepalm. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by plighty on 06-28-2011 Re: Change view on current SharePoint user permissions. I was able to pull the current username and info (not the most ideal for this scenario, but at least it gives me something to work with and I may be able to just use the memberships service). However, I noticed that when a user submitted a new form, the "currentUser" field would always show that original user. So when ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by plighty on 06-28-2011 Re: Confused about how InfoPath handles data. Ug, I hate when stuff like this happens, cause now it's working fine for me. However when I opened up the form I originally tested with it was still not working. Oh well, at least I'm not going crazy, glad it's working in one instance, I have no idea what could have changed from one to the other, I didn't do anything ...
