Thanks a million! Posted to Code (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 08-04-2011 How do I get the xpath that populates one field so I can use it to populate another Hello everyone, I know the title is confusing so let me try to give some background for what I am trying to do. I have a big XML file containing data according to the following schema (greatly simplified for the sake of this post): <xs:schema id="GrenadeSchema"> <xs:element name="GrenadeList"> ... Posted to Code (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 08-04-2011 Re: Get name of form library from form At any rate, Here's what I'm doing right now. I get the browser form's URI and then pull the library name out of that. For the sake of organization, paste this snippet right underneath the comment block that talks about member variables: private object _strUri { get { return ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 07-27-2011 Get name of form library from form Hello all, I have an InfoPath 2007 form up on a SharePoint 2007 form library. Is it possible for the form to get the name of it's library? This has left me stumped for quite a while. Initially I thought it was floating somewhere in the data connections wizard but I couldn't find it there. I've been doing it in part of ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 07-27-2011 Re: Error, Cannot complete this action. Please try again. Hello Mr. Fitch, I did try but just changing that property in the property window did not solve the issue. I looked in the SharePoint event log and couldn't find anything. It's not a gigantic template but it is rather large and souped up. I doubt it is large enough to cause that sort of timeout, though. (44kb) I was on SharePoint 2007 ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 07-25-2011 Re: Error, Cannot complete this action. Please try again. Mmkay turns out it /was/ the filename, I just had to be a bit more thorough. Here's what I did: I took the form template (It's a very large souped up form template, I did not want to have to rebuild it) backed it up and renamed it to templatename().xsn.cab. Then I opened the .cab and extracted all the files to a folder. I used a selection ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 07-25-2011 Error, Cannot complete this action. Please try again. Hello all, when I try and upload my browser-enabled form template to a sharepoint site though Central Administration, I get a very nondescript error page. "Error Cannot complete this action. Please try again." I do, though, have a very special form. It has: Fields populated by xpath expressions using the `sum` and ... Edit: It works fine for the template's URI but not for the forms URI so I'm still stumped. Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 07-15-2011 Grab form URI after it's been saved, before it's been closed and reopened Hello everyone! I have a browser enabled InfoPath form up on a SharePoint site. When someone opens it, they fill in a bit of information, save the form to it's document library, click submit then close the form. The submit button has some custom C# behind it. Part of the code involves working with the forms URI. I tried using ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 07-15-2011 How do I get the little save dialog pop up through code? I'm in a situation where I need to set up a browser-based form to save and then submit immediately afterwards. Normally when you click save on a browser-based form a box opens up which prompts you for the filename and some other options. Is there a way I could get that box to pop up through form code? I'm modifying the code behind the ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by enthdegree_ on 06-09-2011 Page 1 of 2 (13 items) 1 2 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
