Its usually a new xml i will have several forms successfully submit and then one will fail. If you resubmit the same form several times it will also eventually fail.

Currently I am running version 3.1   I can reproduce it. It will usually fail around the fourth or fifth time I submit. And no nothing in the logs.

No problem I got around it by submitting to a custom list then using a workflow to move it to the BCS enabled list. I would definitely like to try out the new feature when it becomes available.
