Yeah, I came to the same conclusion... I managed to install Infopath 2010 on top of my 2007 installation and I am now able to edit 2007 forms with embedded Jscript code from the old version. Although IP 2010 has some nice new features (such as filtering in web enabled forms and the "copy rules" feature) I am quite disapointed ...

But before uninstalling my IP 2007 on my PC I just want to be sure about one thing: Do you know if IP 2010 supports Jscript programming on 2003-2007 compatible forms? I remember reading that Jscript is not supported in IP 2010 (which is quite annoying), but I have a few forms already that ...
