I want to be able to put an odc file up on a non-MOSS sharepoint site. It doesn't have to be a list or anything - just available via the website. Is this possible? If it isn't possible, is it possible to not have an odc file to begin with? Can the InfoPath file itself store the connection info? Or even set it through code? Thanks in ...

I've bound a drop-down list to a SQL-based secondary data source and have set the datasource to work offline. I have searched enough to know there is a (datasourcename)_offline.xml file that should populate itself with the SQL data to be used offline.
