I moved the 200 dropdowns to the second view. The first view still takes a long time open (no improvement in speed at all). Can there be something wrong behind the scenes? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by JakeG on 04-27-2010 Re: Convert InfoPath form? Thanks, I will look into the DBXL product. So if 700 fields isn't the issue, do I just need to make a lot of views and show the user each one in sequence to get the data entered or do I need separate forms? The form has two views, the first is around 100 questions with "yes" checkboxes. The user checks boxes as ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by JakeG on 04-27-2010 Re: Convert InfoPath form? Is changing the backend of the form to be a database a viable option? If so, is there a way to export the XML so it can be easily converted to a SQL server database? The first view has 200+ dropdowns and I just got done updating each one manually to pull its data from 1 of 2 XML files depending on what is to go in the dropdown. I ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by JakeG on 04-09-2010 Re: Auto generating form based on data from another, saving in SharePoint Doc libs So I created two views, one with everything, and one missing the explanation rows. So on the explanation rows view, I must now put conditions on each row to not show the row unless the checkbox was checked. Where can I find a tutorial on how to do this? Thanks. Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by JakeG on 04-07-2010 Auto generating form based on data from another, saving in SharePoint Doc libs I am an InfoPath newbie. Using some examples, I modifed the form to submit to a SharePoint document library. Now the requirements have changed and basically a new InfoPath form must be generated from ...
