Hi Maria,  I'm no expert myself..   Could it have anything to do with the print settings in the View Properties?  ie. "You can specify custom settings for the current view that will be applied when a user prints this form"  Does it only exhibit this behavior for this one form?  G

You might be able to use "Data Validation" on the controls to make it mandatory... (Wouldn't need code this way)
