I have a form I have been using for a while now that retrieves and saves data to a sql server database. I have a master detail relationship set up. One of my fields in the DB is of Type real.  It is of type "option_float" in infopath 2003.  I would like to display 2 decimal places but the form is not showing 2 decimal places. ...

So far what we do know is that it is happening with C# or  Jscript and Infopath 2003 and Infopath 2007. I wonder if it could be a bug? A work around is to is to use the "Add Record" Hyperlink in the corner of the table. This seems to work ok. Rico, do you have a master/detail query? I am using master/detail. Thanks Mark

Hi Hilary. The code we are referring to is for the RUN QUERY button. I have not modified the NEW RECORD. I believe we are both using modified code. I should mention that I am using infopath 2003 sp3 against SQL SERVER 2005 ent x64 sp3 I am not sure if we are using the same code. I did find it at the micrososoft site ...

  Good point Jett but in my code i do set the query back to its original state. Also if you notice you can use the modified button to query and immediately click the NEW RECORD and then Submit button and it is fine.
