  • Changing Existing Columns In Form Library

I have encountered an issue with multi line text fields in one of my InfoPath forms, they are being displayed as 'Single Line of Text' and being limited to 255 chars. I have found a fix for this which means remapping all of my multi line text fields on the form to new custom columns in Sharepoint when republishing the form. The worry I ...

  • Re: After Save - "The form has been closed"

I ended up changing the column to be 'Type (Linked to document)' and had a delete button in the form itself (switching the form status to deleted and hiding that status in the view). The problem was the library needed to give the user a delete option, but 'Edit in Browser' cannot be removed from the menu using javascript. All ...

A possible workaround would be to use the 'Name linked to document' option instead, but if I did this I would lose the 'Delete' functionality. Hello all, I am building a rather large info path form (10-12 pages) using a hidden value to determine which page is displayed. I am wondering if there is a way to switch focus back to the top of the page when clicking a button? Currently when clicking the 'Next' button I have put at the bottom of each section on the the form, the next ...

  • Re: Online and Offline Form in Sharepoint 2007

It is assumed that the infopath client will be on every machine, but I still want users to be able to fill in the forms in the browser via the form library. Is it possible to have forms completed in the browser by default, but to give the user the option of saving/completing them offline before submitting back to the Form Library?
