I tried the substring-after, already but did not think to nest two functions. Posted to General (Forum) by Laura on 11-08-2013 Re: Equivalent expression in xpath for 'Right' used in Excel? Thanks for your response, unfortunately it does not work, as it is starting at beginning of string and I need to grab the last 4 digits (2013), so start at the end and move backward 4; and the date is a field populating during rendering. Posted to General (Forum) by Laura on 11-08-2013 Equivalent expression in xpath for 'Right' used in Excel? Hi, I am looking for an expression I can use in xpath that works similar to the function 'Right', which starts at the far right of a string and then moves to the left a designated number of spaces. What I am trying to do is dispay just the year of a completion date. But substring(Date,6,4) did not work for me because the datetype is ... If I use the fx box I get the error ""../../OptGroup_EQUIPMENT/EQUIPMENT/equipmenttype/EquipInsp" does not point ... Posted to General (Forum) by Laura on 03-23-2012 Re: Page Break Inside Repeating Section - Stumped Thank you for your help, but I never did resolve this, and ended up changing form. I now am faced with the same issue and this is maddening. I tried your template again and I know it is something I am doing... If I just put the expression into - Text Box Properties/Default Value/Value field ... Posted to General (Forum) by Laura on 03-22-2012 Re: Count multiple values in repeating table Thanks. I agree having to write code was a pain. I am in a similiar situation, with another form, so let me try to be clearer. I have a node (../../OptGroup_EQUIPMENT/EQUIPMENT) and under that is 2 child nodes (../../OptGroup_EQUIPMENT/EQUIPMENT/equipmenttype; ../../OptGroup_EQUIPMENT/EQUIPMENT/EquipInsp) each of the child node have ... I appreciate anyone who can help. Posted to General (Forum) by Laura on 10-04-2011 Page 1 of 3 (27 items) 1 2 3 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software. All rights reserved.View our Terms of Use.
