  • Re: Populating a Multiple Selection Listbox

Such a simple solution!  (I didn't realize you could concat data within a column in SQL). Fixed my problem.  Thanks.

What I want is the each selection in the listbox to contain the EmployeeName + UserID (rather than just the Employee Name).    I can get it to display the Employee name based on the criteria of "Role Affected", but I can't get the UserID concatenated to it.

The data I'm using to populate the list is from a secondary data source.  As far as weather or not the list is a repeating section in the main data source...I'm going to guess no.  I've tried it multiple ways.  See below for the form contents.  All of the dropdown lists are populated from a SQL DB and each ...

Check out the blog by Hilary Stoupla regarding generating a unique ID.  It requires a SQL table, but it is very simple and she steps through each piece including the table, stored procedures, and code.  I was able to get this working in a couple of hours.  Hope this helps.  ...

  • re: Fun with Sequential Form IDs, SQL and Sprocs!

This is a very good example of how to generate a unique ID.  I was able to use it with only one tweak.  (I had to include "tbl" in front of my table references.  RIght now, I have the form ID being generated when the form opens; however, I'd like this to happen when the submit button is clicked.  The only problem is ...

  • Making a Form ReadOnly to all users once Submitted

I have a form that is used in the capicity for owners of Role-based profiles to submit profile modification requests and new role-based user requests.  There is a submit button that sends the form as an email with attachment to our Technical Support Center (this will generate a ticket), and it also writes it to a Sharepoint Document library ...
