  • CurrentView.Export Formatting Issues

I am using the "CurrentView.Export" code to export a user completed form to a PDF file. When the conversion process takes place, it ends up spitting out PDF files which have pages 11.12" x 9.05" IN in size that exhibit a blatant disregard for the table formatting that I have applied in the form. Is their a way to control the ...

  • InfoPath Formatting Nightmare!

I am having issues with formatting on documents exported from InfoPath forms. What I am doing is using the "this.CurrentView.Export" function to try and export the results of the InfoPath form to PDF. No matter what settings I modify on the view that holds the information to be exported I get these unworkable PDF documents that ...

  • Re: Specifying Page Breaks With "this.CurrentView.Export(@"FileName", ExportFormat.Pdf)"

I would like to be able to do this programatically, with the user just clicking a "Submit" button that I create. I don't think this method would fill that requirement.

  • Specifying Page Breaks With "this.CurrentView.Export(@"FileName", ExportFormat.Pdf)"

I am using the this.CurrentView.Export(@"FileName", ExportFormat.Pdf) code to export a from that is generated to PDF format and save it to a document library. When the document is exported with this code, the formatting that it produces is not consistant with how you would want a pdf document to be created (doesn't fit properly on ...

Hmm... whenever I try to publish a form as a specific content type to a document library to test your method, it doesn't add the document to the "New" menu. It simply uploads the document template into the list of documents in the library. If I click on that template then I get a new instance of it. Any idea why it is behaving in ...

  • Need Advice on How to Accomplish Something

I am hoping someone could give me some advice on how to best accomplish what I am trying to do. Thank you in advance. What I Have: Several InfoPath forms that take user input, populate a canned letter with that input, covert the output to PDF, and upload that PDF to another document library. These InfoPath forms exist in several discreet ...

  • Re: Modify Boolean Value Programatically

[quote user="Samir Farid"] In the following statement you check whether showInput is null or not: if (null != showInput) If the field is in the datasource it will always have a value of True or False. So when you run the next statement, one of both will always run causing the code to execute the and then return (Exit the method). ...

  • Re: Modify Boolean Value Programatically

I actually got it working how I imagined it... I removed the lines: if (showInput.ValueAsBoolean == false) { showInput.SetValue("true");return; } Now it takes the information, puts it in the hidden form, hides the top, unhides the bottom and exports the current view to a PDF. Now I have other things I want to do with it, but I ...
