  • Re: SharePoint list to repeating table.

Thanks for the reply Hilary, I looked at the article by S.Y.M. Wong-A-Ton and it seems to be exactly what I am trying to accomplish, however there appears to be multiple errors in his code, or I am not following his instructions closely enough. I am using IP 2003, and followed the instructions using Visual Basic to no avail. Does this code not ...

  • Re: SharePoint list to repeating table.

Your help has been invaluable in the past Hilary, thank you. Copying the repeating data from my secondary data source into my main data source is exactly what I am trying to do. So far I have had no luck. I am not a programmer so writing code is way beyond me, and I cannot install qRules on my computer as I have insufficient privileges. MY IT ...

  • Re: SharePoint list to repeating table.

Let me try to clarify what I am trying to accomplish.I have created a SharePoint list with two columns labeled MON and TUE. In each of these columns is a list of names. My form has a drop-down list box which the user would select either MON or TUE. Upon making their selection I would like all the names in the column they selected to populate text ...

  • SharePoint list to repeating table.

Beginner, using IP 2003 and MOSS 2003 I’m in over my head, but still required to produce results. I am creating an IP form that needs to get data from a SharePoint list that has several columns. In my form the user would select which column he wants with a simple drop-down list box. The data in that column would then populate text boxes ...

  • Re: Generate unique number

That was my first thought as well, and I swear to you I tried it 10 different ways, but it never worked. I thought I would try it one more time after reading your reply. Everything works fine now, I don’t know why. It shouldn’t, I didn’t do anything I haven’t tried a half dozen times before. With this last problem fixed, my form is now finished, ...

  • Generate unique number

Beginner, using IP 2003  Used method described at http://bladah.com/?p=51, to get ID value from SharePoint library and add 1. This number used for file naming structure to ensure files not overwritten.   Problem: When existing form is opened for editing then re-submitted, max ID+1 applied and new file is created.   Goal: When ...

  • Re: Find the first date from several date pickers

Thanks for the reply, it helped. I actually didn’t need that many rules. It was the possibility of blanks that was giving me a hard time. By giving the date pickers a default value of something impossibly high and setting some conditional formatting to hide that value, I was able to get the results I needed.

  • Field value to subject line

Beginner, using IP 2003  I have added a button to email my form using a simple code.  function SendEmailBtn::OnClick(Event) {             var Email = Application.ActiveWindow.MailEnvelope;             ...

  • Re: Convert decimal format in SharePoint

I have a similar problem. I found out that SharePoint cannot handle the use of commas very well. My InfoPath form functions properly, but SharePoint replaces my comma with an underscore. I have yet to find a solution, or a suitable workaround. Please let me know if you do.
