However, it appears that Infopath 2010 is not playing nice with Sharepoint. :( Example - I have an am Infopath form (2007 template) that is submitted to a Sharepoint form library. I have a simple, out of the box workflow ... I don't need 2 sets of repeating data, I'm such a fool! Creating one repeating group with 2 fields, one named "email address" and the other ... I need to get 2 sets of data from the "operator". I need the email addresses of the people that need to be notified, and I need those ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by TiltnSpill on 08-26-2011 Stumped by repeating data... :( Good morning, I'm working on two step content approval form in InfoPath, and I'm completely stumped. :( What I want to do isn't that complex, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. A form initiator fills out this form and submits it. The first approval is static, it's always handled by the same person. ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by TiltnSpill on 08-26-2011 Re: Drop-down list populated from Sharepoint List, filtered by data in form. Hey Todd, Yes, your form is similar to what I'm trying to do. The reason I need to "know" whether the loan is secured or unsecured is lenders have different lending limits dependant on this. (example.. a typical lender with 40,000 unsecured lending authority will have between 80,000 -100,000 for a secured loan.) I think ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by TiltnSpill on 04-13-2010 Drop-down list populated from Sharepoint List, filtered by data in form. WoW! I'm bad at posting questions. So i'll do my best to explain the scenario. I have a sharepoint list called "lending authority". This list has 3 columns: Lender Name (string), Unsecured Authority (Number), Secured Authority (Number). I am successfully able to pull Lender Name from my sharepoint list into a ... Thanks for replying Frederik, Currently I have my forms setup like you have explained in your blog post. (to prompt the user to save on close.) I was hoping I had overlooked something and there was a way I could auto-save on close without the prompt! (just one less hoop for the end-user) Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by TiltnSpill on 11-12-2009 Re: "Save Action" in a button. That's for the reply Qazi, I did know about the save button on the form toolbar. I was just hoping I could autosave to I don't have step that could result in end-user error. But i'll leave that part up to the trainers :) Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by TiltnSpill on 10-27-2009 "Save Action" in a button. Good afternoon, I currently building a role-based form in sharepoint. It involves one person creating a request, and then a salesperson acting on the request. The first part is easy... the form initator saves the form to a document library, I have sharepoint workflows that notify the salesperson to look at the form. The salesperson ... This works like a charm. I have to say the multi-select boxes are definitely quirky and you have been a tremendous help. Have a great one.
