From the error message, it looks like there's a nameless tag in your XML, identified by ''</>''. This is, of course, invalid.
Remove this nameless tag from your XML and you should be good to go. Then discover what caused this in the first place, and fix it!

You don't alter any ''control'' in InfoPath -- only DOM nodes.
Set up your drop-down list to populate based on your MOSS list. Then when list is updated, your drop-down choices will automatically be updated.
If this is not possible, create a secondary data source and point your drop-down list at that. Then use code to add or remove nodes from ...

Once the field property has been set, you ...

I have read all the posts and see that you can create a Print button by entering code into the onClick event. Could someone show me exactly how to do that? (I'm a newbie and just want to print the current view - no issues like the other posts on printing other views, etc.) Can't find it in the How To section either.
Thanks.

I came up with one work around. I can translate spaces to a character(~) and then translate it back on the other end. Before External call replace spaces with a character, make call, change back or delete. In external script I can translate the character to spaces.
Not ideal but it works.
