• InfoPath Training

Can anyone recommend InfoPath Training on the east coast; preferably DC or VA area? I have mastered all the functionality of the interface, but, as evidenced by several postings on this forum, once you start talking about expressions and XML nodes, I'm in the dark. I'd like to gain full control over InfoPath. I'm not a developer, but understand ...

  • Re: I deleted "Explorer view" and need it back!

The ''Explorer View'' is a special view (in my opinion), that lets you see the actual files and folders (webfolders) on the sharepoint server. When I created the Sharepoint site, this was one of the views that appeared. When I try to create a new view, I don't see any option for web folders or explorer view.

  • Hiding a picture programatically

I am using Infopath 2003 with SP1. I added a button and picture in my form. When I click the button I want the picture to be hidden (disappear) and when click again to appear. This is to simulate an approval stamp. Is this doable in infopath by VB Script? Your help is greatly appreciated.

  • Re: istributing form templates that work on other PCs

Finally I found the answer through Trusted (or Installable) Forms. I used Regform utility (available from InfoPathh SDK) to change the template (.xsn form file) to a trusted form (another .xsn form file)that can be installed on others PCs.

  • Re: opening infopath forms in PDF

Hi Jenz and welcome! I haven't heard of this feature. Why do you want to do this? It might be possible to create a converter on the server to do this but you could also just install Adobe Acrobat and print it to PDF from the downlevel view in Internet Explorer (using SharePoint Form Server).

  • Re: Transforming RTF Boxes/XHTML

Hi Ren and welcome to our forum, Why did you create an XSLT for the XML output? What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to store the data in a database or send it to another downstream process? In general, your XSLT will have to be able to treat the XHTML inner tags as one string in order to pass it along without a loss of formatting. ...

  • opening infopath forms in PDF

Hi, I'm new to infopath. I'm using infopath2007 to make forms and sharepoint server 2007 to publish the forms. I have read that it is possible to open the form in browser without having infopath installed. Is it possible for the users to open the forms in PDF? Thanks in advance Jenz
