I have tried using a rule to make this happen, but I have been unsuccessful. I know the logic on my rule is correct because if I manually un-select I can select the button again ...

  • Re: Finding error in a button

Hi again Turnipboy, This is a bug in InfoPath 2003. You can just ignore. One way to work around this, is to switch to all of the views before saving. Then, switch back to the one you were working on and save.

  • Re: Help! Attempt to modify a read-only node

Thanks Patrick, but I think I have it licked. On my environment I have an infopath.exe.config file in the same folder as infopath.exe which contains: <startup> <requiredRuntime imageVersion=''v1.1.4322'' version=''v1.1.4322'' /> <supportedRuntime version=''v1.1.4322'' /> </startup> I copied the .config file to the client ...

  • Re: Validation event by clicking a button

Hi Mancha, This is by design. InfoPath does data type and conditional validation when you finish editing the field. You can't postpone that.

  • Re: Infopath and .NET 3.0

  • Iterating through a repeating table, sub-controls

  • Re: Is InfoPath the right solution for my project?

For bonus points, some of the form data collected will have attached documents. For example, data on a product might have care instructions, Materials Safety sheets, or creative assets... in formats like pdf, doc, ppt, & gif/jpg associated with it. Using infopath/forms server to collect the data via web browser/rich client, store it in SQL2005, ...
