Sorry - I don't know what "FSO access" is? Does that mean you can't go look at the list that the form is using for the secondary data? That wouldn't work tho - you'd at least have to have read access to have been able to create the data connection at all. Attach a copy of your form under the options tab if you'd like ...

Yuck. I'd probably start by putting the query and data fields from the secondary data source on the canvas - check that first. Is the expected data present? I'm not sure if 'the other fields pulling from the data source' is referring to the data source itself, or main data source fields set by rules or defaults - that's why ...

Windows Explorer is a good approach. Are you using SharePoint on-prem or Online? I know if Online you can pretty easily use Power Automate to do this - you could have a manually triggered Flow that you just re-use every year for this process. I'm not sure about SharePoint Designer Workflow options.

Here's a simple sample. Save the attached file locally, right click on the file, select Design and then you can look at the rules and preview. I wonder if there is some other rule in your form causing the issue - it sounds like your rules are correct. Attach your template to a reply (under the options tab) if you'd like me to take a look.

I wonder if you could migrate the XML to form libraries in your online environment, and then use Power Automate to copy the data into lists? Just this morning, I found out that Microsoft has a migration tool for copying libraries (and other data) from on-prem to online ...

Hi - Sorry this was unanswered for so long! Basically, there is no out of the box way to copy repeating data in InfoPath, which, if I understand correctly, you probably need to to here. So, you could instead use default data, if you have a general idea of the max rows that would be returned - here's a video that explains that technique (among ...

You'll have to add a data connection to the library the form submits to. You can then, in rules, as part of the submit rules, query the library to get a count of items. Then you can use a concat formula to prepend leading zeros to the count - sample formula can be found in this thread: https://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/20643.aspx. Keep in ...

Oh me too. And the minute you take my parentheses away, I'm completely lost. But I just thought since you'd tried AND first perhaps we'd give OR a go. :)
-
So, I just ran a little test, and what worked for me was to have the two "OR" items first in the view filter, then the "AND". Have you tried that?

It took me the longest time to understand this stuff. I still find myself saying "up the tree" as I type ../ when writing XPath. :)
