In your form library, you can select a view named "Relink" - it is a default view available in form libraries. It allows you to relink an XML file with the template for the library. I'm not sure if there is a way to do that via workflow, however.

Well - I would expect the IDs to be different between the list and library - each list (a library is a type of a list) in SharePoint will have unique IDs for that list, starting at 1 and autoincrementing by 1 from there. These IDs never get re-used, so if you delete item ID of 2 from a list, you'll never have another one in that list.
I ...

That's great news - I'm glad you got it all working the way you want it to!

So, just to verify, you've confirmed he has InfoPath installed on his machine? What happens if he opens InfoPath and navigates to the form template from there - if you give him the URL? It would be http://server/site/doclibrary/Forms/template.xsn -- so the URL to the document library followed by /Forms/template.xsn. When you open IP and ...

Well, without more specifics, I'm kind of guessing, but if what you need to do is insert new instances of a repeating group and set the value, yes, qRules can do that.
You'd use the insert command to insert all the items you want, and then either a rule on the repeating field itself or some type of counter mechanism to set the values.

I can't preview to check what I'm doing, of course, but in the print view of the attached, you'll find a repeating section bound to the status list. It has calculated values in it. The first row of calculated values come from the Project list and are filtered based on Project Name. Hopefully that is the field across the two lists that ...

So, the user fills out the fields in the "Report Selection Criteria" area, and it looks like you already have rules to only return Project Status info based on those - I'm guessing that the Preview Area does what you want? It has only fields from the Status data source - was there info you want from the Project data source ...

You may need a custom workflow to clean up your "Active" folder when the form moves to the "Archive" folder. Let's say your form is named Form1.xml. It has been submitted and re-submitted to the Active folder and the option to overwrite existing is selected in the data connection. Now you submit it to the Archive folder - ...

The completed XML will contain the link to the template it was created with. In a form library (sorry - when you say list items, do you mean submitted XML in a form library?) you can select the relink view and link the XML to that library's template. I'm not sure if you can do the same in a workflow - you may want to do some web searches ...

Hi:
I just did a quick test, and was able to create a submit connection to a subfolder in a library. When I submitted my completed form, it appeared in my subfolder.
Without code (or an add-in like qRules) you aren't going to be able to change the file location on the fly, so you'll have to add multiple submit connections to your ...
