You'll have to pardon me. First for not realizing that other thread was also you, and second for assuming you could filter a table bound to a secondary data source.
Unfortunately, I don't believe conditional formatting is going to work here, because in conditional formatting on a repeating table, current() refers to each individual ...

Yes, that looks right. Remember you'll need to use the Default Values dialog (Tools->Default Values in IP 2007, Data->Default Values in 2010) to add the number of sections you want the form to start off with.

Your images don't seem to be showing up. Could you select Options on the reply page and attach your image?

On the repeating sections, you would add conditional formatting to hide the section on the condition

Could you attach a screenshot of what you're describing? I'm having trouble making sense of your description.
-
Could you clarify what a hyperlink box is? I wasn't aware that IP2007 had a control like that.

It's difficult to understand what you are saying. Could you describe the steps you took in more detail, maybe in a numbered list?

Creating a data source doesn't require code. You just create a file with the XML you want, and go through the data source connection wizard.
In your code, you would need to use this.DataSources["dataSourceName"].CreateNavigator() to create an XPathNavigator, and you would use this to swap out its contents with the result of ...
