Hi Troy0118,
Excellent question. This is a regular expression. It is meant to map an e-mail address. The \w means word I think. Another example that matches e-mail address is: \b[A-Z0-9._%-]+@[A-Z0-9.-]+\.[A-Z]{2,4}\b. You can usehttp://www.regular-expressions.info/index.html as a reference.

Hi Mrudula and welcome to our forum!
An easier approach would be just to use an Active Directory group for the user roles. For each group, set up a distribution list (one e-mail address) that sends e-mail to the group. I hope this helps.

Is there a way to change a button's properties using code? Like if I wanted to disable a button based on a users role during OnLoad? Can this be done using the code section of the document OnLoad?

Hi ErinSelena,
So isn't that what Greg is saying? I think you got the easy advice from MS. This is doable, but perhaps not worth the trouble since you have a workaround... :)

Hi JackInTheGreen,
Can you give me a little more detail? What version of InfoPath are you using? What are the field expressions? If you are using InfoPath 2007, go to Logic Inspector under Tools and reply with a list of the rules you have defined. More soon,

Hi Rolf,
What is ''IsNothing''? Is this a built in function in VB.NET? If it is, it should be supported because InfoPath is .NET compatible.

[ Main ] //source

I my code behind I am using the ''IsNothing'' keyword and it gives an error: ''Name ''IsnNothing'' is not declared''. Is this not supported by InfoPath through the programming interface????
If Not IsNothing(MyDataSet) Then
If MyDataSet.Tables(''Table'').Rows.Count > 0 Then
myNav.SelectSingleNode(''//my:name'', Me.NamespaceManager). _

Patrick, it would seem that this can be done in vb.net per this thread you contributed to back in 2005:

Is it just c# that won't play well here? Thanks!

I'm getting the same ''unspecified error'' on trying to update my main view via a dropdown using 2ndary datasource values as options. Publishing didn't help. Get it on any rule that references the field expressions.
