I really appreciate your help with this issue :) I will try and have a look at the sample and see how it is. However I wont be able to download the copy you attached, due to restrictions on my works network. Is it possible to email it to the same address you messaged me on earlier? I apologise for the inconvenience.

Here's a copy of your form set up w/ repeating sections - one thing I noticed was I initially had the same issue w/ your dropdowns, even when I had them inside appropriately bound section - I ended up rebinding the dropdowns (right click, change binding, select random field inside the repeating table, change binding again and select correct ...

I really don't understand what you mean by the filter error, frankly - I am assuming you are just making an incorrect selection of some kind, perhaps some screenshots would help me. This most recent form you attached is InfoPath 2010 compatible. Can you tell me what the issue is you are having using it w/ SharePoint 2010?

Hmmm. That sounds pretty odd. You published your change, right? You don't have rules on the other fields that would be affecting this field?

Hang on, the form now does exactly what I need when I use it in infopath´s preview mode (also allows me to submit to the sharepoint list i need, and it turns out correctly), but when I try to add a ´new document´ within the SharePoint list (so in browser) the form doesn´t work properly anymore? (it removes the personname every time i fill any ...
