Give this one a try. You may want to add a condition to the rule to not run if SQF in the main data source is blank. :) EDITED TO ADD: save the file locally, right click & select design to open in design mode.

You won't be able to bind a people picker to the XML file, I'm afraid.

Hi Hilary, thanks again for your quick response and help - happy to say I've found what you're looking for (was kind of playing around with that already if I'm honest) - and I think I can manage to get most of my form working as soon as I set up individual form load and form submit rules for each field :)
The only thing I am ...

I did try to follow the steps from that link yesterday, but for some reason the math would return "NaN", "Infinity", "", or the "Total Cost"/ ID.
After my failed attempts, I just figured that the link was only showing how to get the field to display the lookup value instead of displaying the lookup ID.

"$/SQF" is a text field. "SQF" is a lookup field. My issue is that instead of being divided ...

I resent - and changed the file extension from .xsn to .txt. Just change the extension back. Let me know if you don't get it, or send me another email w/ an alternate email address, or I can upload to HighTail & send you a link.

It should be pretty similar to the samples you found - just add a calculated value that uses a filtered XPath to return the display name. Feel free to attach your form under the Options tab in a reply (with some hints on where to look for the data you need added!) and I can give you a hand w/ this. :)
