Is this a browser or a filler form?
I don't use filters on repeating tables usually, as I've had troubles with them in IPFS - I also find that it is not easy to readily see when a table has a filter, whereas conditional formatting shows up in the Rules task pane.

Sounds like something has gone awry in your template - do you have the same issue with a new form template? If you want, attach the template to a reply here (under the options tab) and I'll take a look at it.

It is a little tough in IPFS 2007 - the only way I know is to use code (qRules also offers a command that can do this) and an owssvr.dll data connection (this can also be done with a web service - again, the company I work for sells a great one, or you could write your own, or write code in your form to use the SharePoint GetListItems web ...

Are you opening in the browser?
If so, you've admin approved or sandboxed your form so that your managed code will run, correct?
I've never heard of publishing a form affect the namespace in a main data source and never had that happen myself, so I'd suspect that theory is incorrect. Are you able to see what your payeeTypedName ...

This is for Office 2003 - but most of the concepts are unchanged and should get you pointed in the right direction.

1. What happens when you open the form in InfoPath Filler? Still slow?
2. What happens when you open the view in SQL Server Management Studio - is there something up with the view SQL that makes it slow to return data?
That, I'd verify that the data ...

Hi - was submit enabled when you created the form off the database? More here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath-help/an-introduction-to-submitting-infopath-forms-HA001144486.aspx - it is documentation for Office 2003, but still relevant. Walk through the data connection wizard again for your main data connection and make sure Submit ...

I'm not sure if this is the webinar Jo-Anne meant, but here's a link. And here's all of our YouTube vids.

So, it seems to me that it would be best to have the TOTAL field use a default value so you don't have to write a bunch of rules. But your formula varies according to the selection - so that makes a default value tough.
I'd put the rule on the ChoiceB field, and then I'd put it on the Qty field as well, since it also comes ...
