Formatting settings simply determine how the data is displayed in SharePoint, not what the value actually is. So - set up your formatting as you had it then in the condition, change the first drop down to "the expression". After you do that, you can use the number function around each of the fields: number(d:Invoice_x0020_Total) != ...

Can you install Fiddler on your machine? It is a free download - you can run it while you try your logic to delete and in the Inspectors section you can get back info that may help us see what's going wrong. Want to give it a try?

Hi Hilary,
Thank you for your help. I don't have Office 365.
I am still not able to get it working. I updated the URL in the data connection. Here is what I am doing:
List Name = I tried with the list name in the top of my library, but I got an error about the GUID. Then, I tried with the GUID of the library ...

I am having a very strange thing going on. Environment is O365, Infopath 2013. I have an Form Library that upon Submit, Queries the last ID of the form library (using a data connect called Retrieve IDs (does not auto retrieve data when is form is opened to avoid dupes), however, my users are not getting the same results. I keep seeing duplicates ...

I tried using the number function as you suggested but no change. Do you have any other ...

I hope you ...

Here's a sample. Save it locally, right click and select design. I've added some instruction & information. Please note that this won't work in an Office365 browser form as it uses the lists web service that SharePoint won't allow. But I guess if you are on Office365, you could probably use MS Flow. :)

Hello everyone. Thank you for all the great help is provided in this site.
I am looking for a way to submit/update only a field of my form while it is still open. Why? When a form is open by person A and person B wants to open the same form, person B only has read-only access because somebody else has it open, but person B doesn't know ...

Yes, I think so - but it isn't easy..... Basically, you have to create an XML that has the correct CAML for deleting, and then have a web service connection to submit that to the Lists web service. I have a few forms that use this approach for deleting list items, and I'd assume it would work for libraries as well. I'll try to put ...

I've opened a ticket with Microsoft and it has been closed as a bug with no ETA on resolution. It's been months now since it was closed and I am questioning whether the use of external item pickers in Infopath web forms is that odd of use case? It works fine in SP2010 and SP2013 but not in SP2016. Does anyone else here use Infopath web ...
